Inspection charges

Inspection charges have been precisely and scientifically calculated by a committee from the Ministry of Interior so that it does not constitute a burden at the same time it provides the best possible service, Cabinet order no. 22487 of 4th April 2012 specified charges for each type of vehicle as follows:

Instructions for inspection:

1- Inspections are to be annual for all vehicles whose model year is more than three years of the current year.
2- Vehicles that are made for “Drivers’ formation” must be tested twice a year.
3- First re-inspection charges are half the first charge.
4- Second re-inspection charges are half the second charges.
5- Confirmation inspection charges (Inspections following failing first inspection) Within a maximum period of one month from the date of failing the first inspection and one week from failing the second inspection. In case this period expires, the vehicle should be completely re-inspected.
6- All inspection certificates must be safeguarded and presented to the inspection centre with each visit.
